Over the past several months, we’ve made many product enhancements including two-factor authentication, enabling a team section for advisors, adding yielded dividends to proposals, and more.
Two-Factor Authentication
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is essential to web security because it immediately neutralizes the risks associated with compromised passwords.
Now users can enable two-factor authentication when logging into StratiFi for increased security.
We’ve also added the option to lock the account for 15 minutes after 3+ failed login attempts. This acts as a deterrent for malicious agents attempting brute force password/username guessing.
HOW TO ENABLE 2FA:
- Access Security Settings and select “Enable Two-factor Authentication“
- On your device, install a compatible application. For example:
- Cloud-based
- Other:
- In the application, scan the code displayed by StratiFi with the device’s camera
- Enter the number from the entry on your device into the Pin Code
- Enter your password and select Submit
- Enter the number from the entry on your device into the Pin Code
- 2FA is now enabled
Team Section for Advisors
Advisors now have access to the “Team” section, which gives them the details of the team they belong to. Previously, only executive roles had access to the team section.
Display Yield in Proposal
(CURRENTLY IN BETA) Rather than manually adding dividend yield data to Proposals, advisors now have the choice to add yielded dividends associated to the document when investors ask for that information.
This enhancement makes it easier to provide more valuable information when proposing an investment strategy to the client.
This strategy is currently in beta. The yielded dividends section is hidden by default but can be enabled by advisors.
